What happens if the Air Suspension Valve Control Unit failured?
If the Air Suspension Valve Control Unit failed, air may be leaked back to the compressor or the central air reservoir. This can cause the vehicle to not maintain the ride height required. So the failed valve block should be replaced asap.
It does not take very ling to replace this part and you can complete it by yourself !
Just follow these steps to complete the replacement:
1. Drain AIRmatic system using Diagnosis;
2. Remove compressor; Detach plug from AIRmatic pressure sensor;
3. Detach valve unit connector; Undo pressure line terminals;
4. Undo nuts (arrows) and remove level control;
5. Remove rubber buffer to level control valve;
6. Install in the reverse order; Fill AIRmatic system using Diagnosis;
7. Check AIRmatic for leaks.
